Ezine article submission directories are often times free to use. If you are doing article marketing then they are an invaluable tool.

A free way to drive traffic to your site is through article marketing. Article marketing can be very power depending on how you use it. You can either submit your article manually to the Ezines or you can use an article submission site.

If you are going to manually submit your articles then you need to sign up to each individual ezine and get yourself a user name and password. Make sure you put it in a safe place because you will have many of them. Each individual site will have a different procedure to follow when submitting your articles.

When manually submitting your articles you need to make sure that you are writing a new article for each one. If you have articles with duplicate content on the internet the search engines will penalize you for it and your ranking will drop dramatically.

If you want a lot of traffic to your site then you are going to need to submit a lot of articles that pertain to what people are looking for. The more you help people the better chance you have that they will click through to your site to find out more information.

The more backlinks from unique content you have going to your site the higher your site will rank in the search engines.

If you don’t want to manually submit to hundreds of directories the other way to go is through an ezine article submission site. they will take care of registering you to the different ezines, remembering your passwords, and the responding to the emails after you registered and they accepted your articles.

The other thing they do is take care of submitting your articles to the thousands of ezine article submission sites (this could take you weeks or months to do).

There are many different article submission sites out there but you need one that sends out truly unique articles so you will rank better and more people will see them (more traffic). Most article submission site use what is called keyword spinning but that makes the articles choppy and they are generally only about 30% unique.

If you want to use an article submission site to send out your articles then you should use one that send out unique content, gives you the choice of making many resource boxes, and lets you send out however many articles a day you want. The ability to control how many articles are submitted allows you to have a natural link building to your site. This will help you with the search engine ranking.
