I Chose to Outsource my Sales Department

Are you a business owner having a hard time with sales appointment setting and sales staffing? Sales issues are common problems for businesses. A competent businessman will realize when sales are not his or her strong point and they will turn to the help of an outsourcing company when they encounter these difficulties.

Sales appointment setting can require a lot of time and industry knowledge. You will have to furnish a list of contacts for your sales appointment setting staff to call. The list must be comprised of individual contacts that are qualified to make important purchasing decisions. Sales appointments are only as good as the lead itself. There is no point in setting up an appointment with a prospect that does not have the authority to sign contracts or make purchases. It is a waste of time for your sales staff to meet with substandard leads.

My colleague suggested that I look to an outsourcing company to generate lists for appointment setting calls and perhaps to even find out about hiring and training my entire appointment setting staff.

I was also having some problems with sales staffing. I had to place help wanted ads every time I had an open position for a sales team member. These ads were expensive and I had very little luck when I decided to post my job listing on a website. The process was also taking up too much of my time.

Then you will have to go through dozens of resumes in order to limit the pool of prospective new hires down to a small amount. Once you have accomplished this you will have to contact the prospects and schedule interviews. This will also take some time.

Once the interviews with the sales staffing prospects were completed I still had to hire, train, and provide office supplies and space for the new hire. New hires had to undergo orientation and be informed of all new company policies and procedures. The entire process was entirely too lengthy but I could not afford to hire more personnel to deal with human resources.

Many business owners do not have the time or the resources required to successfully employ a sales team. There are other options available; you can hire a company that will take care of all of your sales needs.

The outsourcing company hired, trained, and managed my sales staff while providing me with better sales results than I had ever seen before.
